Control (Third Person Shooter, Action Adventure)
Who would like it?
Fans of third-person shooter adventures with great stories, challenging enemies and stunning, best-in-class visuals. Days Gone (Survival Horror, Action Adventure)
Who would like it?
People who like zombies and big motorcycles – think of it as a cross between The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy and you’re kinda there. A massive, open-world, third-person action adventure, Days Gone is a single-player odyssey that takes place after a zombie apocalypse has ravaged the world. As gruff biker Deacon St. John you are on a quest to find your missing love, all the while dealing with zombies, thugs and cults along the way. In addition to having to take care of your bike by ensuring it has enough fuel and upgrading it – you must also contend with Days Gone most unique feature; zombie hordes that can number in the thousands.

Death Stranding (Action Adventure)
Who would like it?
Folks who enjoy high concept sci-fi and the previous works of Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid), will find much to enjoy here. A new type of single-player action adventure, Death Stranding is a fantastically bizarre affair that casts players as Sam Porter (played by The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus). Their task? To ferry crucial supplies and cargo across a post apocalyptic North America where a mysterious rain is aging (and killing) everything it touches.
Throw in some great action, a compelling story with deep themes and some of the best visuals ever seen on a PlayStation console and it’s clear that Death Stranding will linger long as one of the defining games of this console generation.

In our review, we awarded Death Stranding 8/10 and said “Death Standing proves itself as a unique, palpable new IP, filled with rich storytelling both in narrative and gameplay. The beginning of the game suffers from long gaps of time intended for learning the ropes, but the ship rights itself once it finally turns the corner. Despite that with a handful of missteps, a deep, potent message of coming together rings through every aspect of Death Stranding that dazzles the game as a whole. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin & The Lion King (Platformer)
Who would like it?
Players young and old! A pair of 16-bit classic, single-player Disney platform games brought kicking and screaming into 2019, Aladdin and The Lion King remain as two solidly enjoyable (and just plain solid) genre efforts that everybody can enjoy.

Gang Beasts (Super Silly Multiplayer Party Brawler)
Who would like it?
Anybody who just wants to switch off their brains, step into the jelly-flesh of an assorted number of random beasts and pummel the absolute nonsense out of everybody else in a series of increasingly absurd arenas. Simply put, Gang Beasts is the perfect multiplayer antidote to festive afflicted arguments from your friends and family – check em’ in the arena and let the beasts sort them out!

A charming and wholesome adventure set in a papercraft village full of animals, Ghost Giant is a sterling PSVR effort that casts players as a ghostly giant who must help a depressed little boy cheer up and help other folks around his hometown. Ghost Giant is an evocative and hugely enjoyable puzzle adventure that everybody of all ages can enjoy with their PSVR headset.

Judgment (Detective, Action Adventure)
Who would like it?
If they enjoy the Yakuza games or just want a good detective game with a side dish of martial arts fisticuffs and ridicious side missions, then Judgment is absolutely going to be the ticket. As disgraced lawyer turned private eye Takayuki Yagami, players must venture into the seedy underbelly of Tokyo’s gangland to expose a conspiracy that reaches to the very highest levels in this massive single player detective, action RPG adventure. Expect violence, expect humor, expect wacky side missions and expect plenty of wacky scenarios (like dressing up as a vampire, for example).

In our review, we gave Judgment 9/10 and said “A sizeably riotous spin-off to Sega’s Yakuza franchise, Judgment combines the series penchant for balancing seriousness and absurdity with a hyper-engaging central protagonist whose deeply charismatic persona freshens the whole affair up massively. Kingdom Hearts 3 (Action RPG, Adventure)
Who would like it?
Fans of the previous Kingdom Hearts games will go mad for this. Essentially the conclusion of a story that has been nearly two decades in the making, Kingdom Hearts 3 is gargantuan action RPG that whisks players off into a wide variety of Disney worlds where they’ll meet everyone from Hercules and Pirates of the Caribbean, to the folks from Frozen and Toy Story. It also doesn’t hurt that the graphics are absolutely brilliant too – doing a great job of mimicking the films and cartoons they are based on, as players venture deep into the cosmos to destroy the evil Heartless, once and for all with Donald and Goofy by their side.

Rebuilt from the ground up, this decidedly spooky single-player action adventure is overflowing with light horror, secrets to find, enemies to vanquish and plenty of goofy humor. As the recently undead Sir Dan Fortesque players must venture out into the night to smash the evil force that is animating the other dead in the world.

Anyone who likes tense, edge of your seat horror with superb third-person shooting would love Resident Evil 2.

The Outer Worlds (RPG, Adventure, First-Person Shooter)

A single-player RPG set in the far flung future where corporations own literally *everything*, The Outer Worlds is stuffed to the brim with great non-linear storytelling, grandly written characters and utterly engrossing stories.
