Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima has revealed in his latest KOJI10 radio show that he will transition to ‘phase 2′ of Kojima Productions following the completion of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and horror title Project: OD.
PHYSINT represents phase of Kojima Productions, but the game designer said that once this is done and dusted he doesn’t know what if his next project will be a game or a movie. However, he did reveal that he plans on creating an anime as part of phase 2 of Kojima Productions.

PHYSINT was confirmed back in January 2024, with Kojima revealing it is part of a collaboration between Kojima Productions and PlayStation Studios. While few details are available right now, it has been revealed that PHYSINT will be an action espionage title that Kojima hopes will “transcend” the barriers between games and films.
Kojima Productions revealed in November last year that it was in possession of full ownership of the Death Stranding and PHYSINT IPs, which coincided with the Xbox Series X/S release of Death Stranding via 505 Games.
