Review aggregator Metacritic has begun tracking games that have been nominated for major industry awards, as well as those that have picked up actual rewards. As a result, we’re now able to see what the Game Awards 2023 winners would be if they were decided solely by Metacritic.

While Metacritic currently only has tracking for The Game Awards, over time the site will incorporate other major awards including BAFTA Games, DICE, Game Developers Choice Awards, New York Game Awards, and its own Metacritic Game of the Year.

The Game Awards will kick off on December 7, 2023 at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre.
