Guerrilla Games’ stunning new role-playing project Horizon Zero Dawn has been turning a lot of heads since its formal reveal at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) back in June and with this newly-released piece of concept art it’s easy to see why.
Depicting a suitably dulcet surrounding – contrasted sharply of course by the appearance robotic dinosaurs scouring every crevice of the area – the image looks positively beautiful, with the sort of varied landscape we’ve been calling for from a Guerrilla Games’-made title for some time. And boy have they answered the call.

Horizon Zero Dawn takes place in a post-apocalyptic world which has seen humans drop from the top of the food chain only to be replace by mechanized dinosaur-like creatures. You play as Aloy, a hunter who must traverse the dangerous landscape all in the name of survival.
The game’s scheduled for release in late 2016 and it’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
