PS4 Error e-816dc703, PS4 e-816dc703, e-816dc703 – This latest PS4 issue has been cropping up recently and appears to be related to Party Chats. Users are either unable to start a Party Chat or they do and they’re later kicked out, with PS4 error e-816dc703 popping up with the message “No longer in party due to network error.”
Unfortunately, the problem is not helped by the fact Sony doesn’t acknowledge the issue on its official website, so we’ve had to do a bit of digging for more info.
PS4 Error e-816dc703 – How To Fix
It’s still very early days right now so reports on how to fix e-816dc703 are pretty rare. However, we’ve been looking around and found some possible solutions. Again, these are not 100% guaranteed to work, and it may be that the problem is due to larger issues with PSN.
Solution 1
- Restart the PS4
- Test your Network Settings
- Make or join a Party and it should hopefully work.
Solution 2
Update your PS4 if you haven’t already done so.
As mentioned, it appears this problem is due to wider issues with PSN as a whole, which are affecting the social aspects of the service. So, you may simply have to wait until Sony has rectified the problem in your area.
