The steps for freeing up space on PlayStation 4 are super simple. Basically, just do the following steps:
- On the PlayStation 4 main menu press up on the controller once
- Then scroll all the way along to the right until you come to ‘Settings’
- Press the ‘X’ button on your controller
- From here scroll down until you reach ‘Storage’
- Press the ‘X’ button
- If you have more than one storage location (if you are using an external hard drive for example), simply select the one that you use your games on and press the ‘X’ button. You can tell which one this is as it should say “Application Install Location”
