Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 7 has remained offline for more than 24 hours now after it was pulled down for maintenance yesterday, resulting in the racing simulation title getting review bombed on Metacritic.
Frustratingly, Polyphony Digital has not said anything about the game’s status or when we can expect to see it back online. As for the aforementioned Metacritic, the score dropped to as low as 4.1 earlier today.
Still, while fans are obviously pretty miffed about this, the folks behind Grid Legends have found the funny side, posting the following message on Twitter:

The problems with GT7 started yesterday after it was discovered that update 1.07 featured a issue that resulted in Polyphony Digital having to conduct extended maintenance. It didn’t specific exactly what the issue was, but since the game has been offline for a day, we can assume it’s pretty serious.
