Sony Interactive Entertainment has updated its listing for God of War Ragnarok on the PlayStation Store, confirming the game as the latest to benefit from PS5 Pro Enhanced.
The critically acclaimed Norse-flavoured action-adventure is already an incredibly looking game, Sony’s new high-end console will offer more bells and whistles for God of War Ragnarok, although the format holder hasn’t provided any details just yet.
The PS5 Pro Enhanced label offers a wide range of performance improvements for games, including enhanced visual fidelity, better frame rates, and more. One of the main benefits of the new system is PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), which is described by Sony’s Hideaki Nishino as “an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.”
God of War Ragnarok was released in November 2022 for PS5 & PS4, and you can read our full review here. Like many of Sony’s first-party efforts the past few years, the game has also received a dedicated PC port with enhanced features.
