Sucker Punch Productions‘ Ghost of Yotei has picked up a rating in Taiwan, presumably indicating the game isn’t too far off from release.
The rating doesn’t give much away at all, only mentioning the inclusion of ‘Violent, Tobacco, and alcohol, Inappropriate language,’ and was given an R rating. Typically, when game are rated overseas it usually means that a launch isn’t too far away, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

While we’re on the subject of Ghost of Yotei, former Sony indie boss Shuhei Yoshida recently said that he’s played multiple versions of the game during its production, noting that it “always felt great” during his hands-on time. While a release date has yet to be announced, Sucker Punch reconfirmed a 2025 launch window for the game last month, so at least we know it’s on track for this year.
Ghost of Yotei is slated for release in 2025.
