Ghost Of Tsushima launched on PC this past May 2024 on Steam, as the latest first-party PlayStation Studios game to get a PC port. It’s also seemingly the latest example of why Sony won’t stop porting its games to PC anytime soon.
In May 2024 across the United States, Ghost Of Tsushima was the best-selling game for the month “in tracked dollar-sales,” shooting to the top of the charts from previously being in 71st place on the sales charts.
The latest numbers come (as they always do) from executive director at Circana Mat Piscatella, who consistently shares the stats every month.
Sitting just behind Ghost Of Tsushima is Nintendo’s remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, though it’s a suspicious second place because Nintendo does not share data for digital sales. For all we know, there have been many months like May where a second or third-place Nintendo game was actually first with its digital sales properly accounted for.
Barring that, Ghost Of Tsushima takes the win, with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Helldivers 2 and MLB The Show 24 rounding out the top five games for the month.
