Genshin Impact update 4.4, known as Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze, will launch on January 31, 2024, developer miHoYo has announced.
One of the key additions with Genshin Impact 4.4 is a new area in the shape of Chenyu Vale, the latest expansion of the Liyue area. Described as a ‘beautiful, mist-shrouded’ location ripe with majestic hills, cascading waterfalls and bustling villages, Chenyu Vale also hides the mysterious tales of the adepi.
However, the majority of Chenyu Vale lies off the beaten track. With the blessing of the adepti, players will be able to transform into a special carp to soar into the sky and reach previously inaccessible areas. During your journey, you will encounter legendary beasts that roam the valley. One of the most formidable and mysterious of them, the “Solitary Suanni,” will appear as a boss enemy.

Meanwhile, Xianyun will join the fray as a five-star character, and can take a flying leap and dash forward twice in mid-air, as well as aid teammates by increasing the height of their jumps and Plunging Attacks, while also providing healing where necessary. Gaming is the four-star Pyro character who will be joining with Genshim Impact 4.4, and is a claymore user that utilises Wushou arts in his combat.
