miHoYo has announced that Genshin Impact update 2.6, which is titled Zephyr of the Violet Garden, will be released on March 30, 2022.
Genshin Impact update 2.6 issues a wealth of new content, including a new area in the shape of The Chasm, which is located at the westernmost of Liyue. With this, players will be able to uncover the story threads of the Traveler Twins and Khaenri’ah.
In addition, you can also hit up Inazuma and meet up with Kamisato Ayato, the latest five-star character, and join in the celebrations for the Magnificent Irodori Festival. Here’s some more details on the new character:
As the young but highly accomplished head of the Yashiro Commission’s Kamisato Clan, Ayato is a man of many ways and means. In his Story Quest, players will see how Ayato handles troubles and an unusual occasion as Inazuma steps into a new era of progress. In terms of combat, Ayato wields a sword and holds the Hydro Vision.
He can unleash immense Hydro damage in a short amount of time, and is capable of increasing the effects of his party’s Normal Attacks.

Ayato and Venti will be recruitable by players in their Character Event Wishes, which will be followed by a rerun of Kamistao Ayaka toward the end half of the update. Meanwhile, the Weapon Event Wish will include a new five-star sword from Inazuma known as the Haran Geppaku Futsu.
Genshin Impact update 2.6 is due on on March 30 for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
