11 bit Studios has announced that chilly sequel Frostpunk 2 will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S following the PC version’s release in the first half of 2024.
While a concrete release date has yet to be announced for the console versions of the game, the publisher did provide a gameplay trailer to give you an idea of what to expect. Check it out below.

Frostpunk 2 sees players taking on the role of a Steward, who is tasked with overseeing a rapidly-swelling metropolis and weighing up the needs and demands of its society. Residents have all manner of concerns, from the safety of their children, concerns about crime on the streets, unhealthy squalor, industrial growth and lack of jobs.
Releasing this year, Frostpunk 2 remains focused on the story of a people dealing with harsh realities. As it is in life, some individuals wield more driving force than others, but when you’re trying to ensure the sustainability and survival of your City, that power provides little relief.
Frostpunk 2 is slated for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at an undisclosed date.
