Following the announcement that Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to the PS5 on April 29, the game’s official X account has confirmed that there are no plans for a physical version of the racer.
Speaking in response to a user who asked about a disc-based version of Forza Horizon 5, the account simply replied, “Nothing planned for a physical disc release.”
Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 will take full advantage of the PS5 Pro when it arrives on Sony’s console, and includes two rendering modes — Performance and Quality. The PS5 Pro edition will benefit from enhanced visual fidelity for the Performance Mode, while the Quality Mode adds ray traced car reflections.
