Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 English Voice Recording Looks To Have Started

Square Enix looks to have kicked off English voice recording for the third chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, as Cloud’s VA, Cody Christian, has revealed that he’s back in the recording studio for an unnamed project.

While he doesn’t mention Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 specifically, he does mention “so happy to be back with my bestie” and posted an image Cloud alongside the text. As such, it’s not surprising to that a lot of folk are taking this as confirmation that voice recording for Part 3 has kicked off.

Earlier this year, Naoki Hamaguchi and Yoshinori Kitase said that development of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is progressing on schedule, with Hamaguchi-san saying he is “very satisfied” with how things are going. While a release date has yet to be announced, it was previously reported that the game is set to launch in 2027, which is the same year that the original celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Meanwhile, Kitase-san said said that the third part of the remake project won’t be exclusive to the PS6, and that work on the sequel started pretty much right after production on Rebirth concluded.
