FIFA 17 web app for Ultimate Team release date expected today

The highly-anticipated FIFA 17 web app will be available very shortly, and could possibly go live today, as we approach the release date of EA Sport’s annual football game.

Like last year’s FIFA Ultimate Team web app, FIFA 17 Webstart launches prior to release of FIFA 17, allowing players to get a head start in Ultimate Team by trading, opening packs, earning coins, and building and optimizing their squad before heading to the football pitch.

FIFA 17 web app release date rumor

It’s rumoured by fans using EA Live Chat that the FIFA 17 web app will launch today, Monday 19 September, a week before the official release date of the full game on September 27, 2016. On Twitter, the FIFA 17 news channel believes that it will be available at 6pm BST, though it’s unclear where they’ve got the details from.

We’re also expecting some new features this year’s FUT web app, though it’s likely we won’t find out what they are until Webstart launches. Stay tuned for the official word from EA Sports very shortly.

In the meantime, check out the numerous updates for FIFA 17 over last year’s iteration, which include a new cinematic story mode, enhanced set-pieces, and improved A.I.
