In the main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn called Deep Dive, you’ll need to escape the rising water. There’s one particular puzzle that you might get stuck on, where you’re required to turn valves. In this guide, we’ll show you how to solve it.
There’s one section of this mission when you’re trying to raise the water levels that can be a little challenging. In the room are five yellow valves, you can open or close them.
You’ll also see a prompt which comes up reading “Open every IN valve and close every Out Valve to build pressure in the water tank.” Take a look at where the pipes are leading to, this will flag up with a yellow marker on your HUD, confirming this is the tank.

There’s also a note on the wall, which reads: If you open every valve with water flowing into the central tank And you forget to open the pipes flowing out, you will flood the silo and we’ll perish.
Essentially, open ever valve that has an arrow on it pointing towards the tank, and close ever valve that has an arrow pointing out.
- First valve on the right – Open
- Valve in front of you when you walk in the door – Close
- Valve the opposite side of that one Close
- Valve where you need to stand on the box – Open
