Famitsu awards Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 40/40

I think it’s safe to say there is no stopping the awesomness that is Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Japanese games publication Famitsu seems to agree, awarding it top marks with a 40/40 score in the magazine’s latest issue.

According to RPGSite’s U.S. Editor, Erren Van Duine, Skyrim is now the 17th game to ever recieve 40/40 in the publication’s history.

Given the impressive scores that the open world RPG has brought home, it’s sure to be a heavyweight contender in the Game of the Year nominations for 2011.
