Fallout 4 PS5 Upgrade Coming April 25, Includes Performance & Quality Modes, 60 FPS & More

Bethesda has announced that it is releasing a free Fallout 4 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade on April 25 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, bringing with it a host of improvements for the post-apocalyptic sequel including two graphics modes.

The Fallout 4 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade will include full native support for the game on Sony and Microsoft’s latest home consoles, featuring Performance Mode, Quality Mode, stability improvements, fixes, and increased frame rate of up to 60 FPS. Meanwhile, owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will receive a free update with stability improvements, login and quest fixes.

Beyond the various performant enhancements, the update will also add a bunch of other goodies, including free Creation Club items:
