Mediatonic has announced that Fall Guys has hit 20 million players worldwide just 48 hours after its re-launch as a free-to-play game.

While the player count is obviously something to celebrate for Mediatonic, the studio did have to cope with a few teething issues, with technical issues resulting in Custom Lobbies being disabled. In addition, Xbox owners have reported PlayStation button prompts, while matchmaking issues have been widespread across all formats.

Fall Guys was originally released for PS4 and PC in August 2020, and Mediatonic kept things ticking over with numerous post-launch content, including new seasons, game modes, and costumes.
In addition to going free-to-play, Fall Guys also launched for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the former adding haptic feedback 4K resolution.
