The ever-reliable PlayStation Game Size Twitter account has confirmed the Elden Ring PS5 download size, revealing the upcoming fantasy-RPG will weigh in at just shy of 45GB on Sony’s new tellybox – 44.472GB, to be precise.
It should be noted that this doesn’t take into consideration any potential day one patch, and in this day and age, this sort of this is pretty common. Still, for now, you at least have an idea of how much space you’ll need to free up on your PS5 to install Elden Ring.
In addition, the Twitter account reveals that the Elden Ring preload date will be February 23, 2022, which is two days before the game is out.

Elden Ring is pencilled in for a February 25, 2022 release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
