Interplay announced today that Gameloft will develop and publish an Earthworm Jim game for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, WiiWare, and mobile platforms. Fans of the original game, which is roughly 15 years old, can look forward to the return of the 16-bit funny earthworm super hero.
The game is set to release first on Xbox in the last quarter of 2009, and the following month on the other platforms. We are not sure at this time which version of the game will make its way to the downloadable circuit, but whatever game we get, we’re sure it’ll be good for a few laughs.
