Earth Defense Force 6 is launching in the US and UK in Spring 2024 for PS5 & PS4, D3 Publisher has announced.
Originally released in Japan in August 2022, Earth Defence Force 6 will also come to Asian territories in 2024 with English language support.
Earth Defense Force 6 take place three years after the events of its predecessor, which saw 90% off the Earth’s population destroyed following a fierce war against mysterious invaders known as Primers. While humanity triumphed in the conflict, the world remains devastated, with the survivors continuing their efforts to rebuild.
The Primers left behind many alien colonists and the two species have become increasingly hostile toward one another. The number of invasive organisms nesting in the depths of the earth and its ruins continues to increase. The Earth Defense Force is once again called upon to protect the planet from the aggressive extraterrestrial invaders and determine the true purpose of the giant ring-shaped object that has recently appeared in the sky.
Players will be able to choose a class from the likes of Ranger, Air Raider, Wing Diver, and Fencer, each armed with fresh abilities and equipment, before taking on a huge range of missions and getting to grips with an assortment of deadly weapons.
Earth Defense Force 6 is due out in the west for PS5 & PS4 in Spring 2024.
