Techland has announced that it’s bringing a New Game Plus mode to Dying Light 2 with the next major title update, which is due at the end of the month.
Survivors, Our team is working hard on patch 3 for DL2 Stay Human. It will be one of the biggest patches we’ve released so far. Apart from many fixes for both multi and single-player mode, it will also introduce a New Game+ mode, giving you more reasons to re-visit The City.
The developer has previously revealed that it was considering a New Game Plus mode for Dying Light 2, but this is the first time we’ve got confirmation that it’s in the works.

Looking ahead, there’s a bunch of story-based content in the works for Dying Light 2, which Techland says takes place ‘sideways to the main events.’
