Capcom has released a Dragon’s Dogma PS4 vs PS3 comparison video, showcasing how the upcoming high-definition version of the fantasy-RPG stacks up against its 2012 predecessor.
The Dragon’s Dogma PS4 release date has been confirmed as October 3, 2017, and will also arrive on Xbox One. In addition to including the base game, the upcoming HD re-release also features a host of DLC and other additional content that was released back in 2013.
As you can see from the video below, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen PS4 features enhanced visuals that bring it up to par with modern games. The 1080p overhaul is certainly noticeable, and Capcom previously claimed that the title will run at 60fps.
The PC version of Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen also boasts significant technical advancements, including an unlocked frame rate that can reach as high as 144Hz depending on your setup.

It’s been five years since the original game was release for PS3 and Xbox 360, although Capcom has yet to confirm Dragon’s Dogma 2.
