Download free Uncharted 4 Survival mode now, new maps and PvP content

Naughty Dog has released the much-anticipated Survival Mode update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End today via a new update.

Uncharted 4 update adds Survival Mode

Survival Mode is a wave-based experience where players team up to combat an increasing number of enemies, which includes a host of new bosses to tackle. In addition, there’s objectives to juggle as you mow down legions of foes, plus a host of extra PvP content to get stuck into.

The latter includes new costumes such as a biker and warrior skin, five new weapons, 10 new levels, plus a host of extra boosters. If that wasn’t enough to get your multiplayer juices flowing again, gamers can also benefit from price cuts on some chests, plus get stuck into a new mode in the shape of King of the Hill and two extra maps—Prison and Trainwreck.

Uncharted 4’s multiplayer roadmap extends into 2017, with Naughty Dog confirming the critically acclaimed action-adventure sequel will receive two new updates at some point in the future. In addition, the California-based studio is also working on the series’ first single-player expansion in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which focuses on Chloe Fraser and Nadine Ross.

Naughty Dog has confirmed that Uncharted 4 will be the developer’s final entry in the series, though hasn’t ruled out the possibility of another studio jumping on board to helm Uncharted 5. It’s unlikely Sony will drop the series, seeing as how it’s sold nearly 30 million units worldwide following its debut in 2007.

Uncharted 4 was released back in May 2016 and sold over 2.7 million units in its first week alone. Read the Uncharted 4 review.
