Destiny 2 was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2017, and arrived on PC a month later. The shooter also made its way to Google Stadia late last year.
Despite rumors that Bungie were working on a sequel to its shared-world shooter, the studio has admitted that we’re going to have to wait a bit longer for news on Destiny 3. Right now, it appears as though it’s in no rush to push out a follow-up.
Bungie is now fully in control of the Destiny IP following its split from publishing partner Activision earlier this year. One of its first moves was to re-launch Destiny 2 and bring cross-save into the equation, as well as offering the new expansion, Shadowkeep.
