Destiny 2 – How to Get Xenophage

They say that in space no one can hear you scream, but with Xenophage you will be the cause of terror during this year’s Festival of the Lost. With so much happening now in Destiny 2, it is sometimes hard to keep up. A new dungeon, Festival of the Lost is once again upon us, and now a new Exotic quest as well. Nevertheless, this has never been a better time to be a Destiny 2 fan, and more is on its way. Before you become overwhelmed, we have a guide for you to the new Exotic machine gun.

Step 1:

To start this, you must find your way back into Eris’ layer that overlooks the Darkness’s Pyramid. This can be accomplished by finishing her weekly quest, not from Patrol. To access from Patrol, you must go to Sorrow’s Harbor and enter the Scarlet Keep.

Head into the left doorway then stay to the right. In the wall, there will be a hole you can jump to. This leads you into her layer.

Once there, you will need to ignite all four statues that line the walls. These statues are reminiscent of the statues in Court of Oryx from The Taken King. Once all four are lit, you will see a chest spawn in. This will start the quest for the Xenophage.

Step 2:

Emergence

Go to the Anchor of Light on the Moon. From here, you will need to pick up an Orb of Light and ignite six braziers scattered across the area. Below is a map of the order you will need to light the braziers. The first one will be in the same room as the Orb of Light.

Number 1 will give you the orb to ignite the braziers, and be where to ignite the first brazier.
The light to ignite your way.
Number 2
On top of this observatory, you can find brazier 4.

Brazier 5 requires some jumping but is easy to reach.
In between brazier 2 and 5, you will find brazier 6 on a roof.
The final ignition.

Step 3:

Pathfinder

Complete four Lost Sectors on the Moon. At the end of each sector, there will be a new puzzle to solve, and lucky the solutions are already out there. Thank you to Haiku for providing these!

At the end of each lost sector, there will be a puzzle that looks like this. Use the key above to solve them.

Step 4:

The Dungeon awaits

If you have already completed the Pit of Heresy dungeon, then you will notice a bit of a change to what normally needs to be done. There will be a point where you will come to a wall of doors. From there is a specific door that will need to be entered. There is a picture below to show the correct door. After entering the correct door, you will enter the Pariah room.

The door with a run hanging about it will be the correct one. It requires a skilled jumper to make it up to it, but one person needs to make the climb.

An item will be waiting for you inside.

The Pariah Ogres cannot be defeated, only hid from. After sneaking your way to the back of the room, where there will be a cliff, you will need to drop down to a ledge. Although the Ogres cant be hurt on the ledge, you will be safe. You will need to activate platforms by stepping on a plat. Luckily, their platforms aren’t time-based.

After you activate the last platform, you will be directed into a new room with a specific boss.

When you find your way to the cliffside this were where to begin the platform jumping.

How to defat the new Boss

You will be in despair during this fight. In both game and real life. While the boss has despair on you, you will have a charge to go with it; Arc, Solar, Void, Neutral. These not only depict the correct orb to obtain and tower to place it at, but also what element to use to damage the boss. Whatever burn you have on you will be the type of energy you will need to damage the boss, with natural being Kinetic weapon damage. After the boss is killed, you will need to return to Eris.

Step 5:

Return to Eris to get your prize.
