YouTuber EdgeRunner Cold has managed to estimate the size of Cyberpunk 2077‘s map using footage and other information released by CD Projekt Red, to come to the conclusion that Night City will be about twice as big as San Andreas was in Grand Theft Auto V.
EdgeRunner Cold managed to decipher this size by looking at the recent photo mode trailer for the game, which featured coordinates at the top of the screen. And by using the multiple coordinates from different places around Night City, they were able to produce an accurate estimate.

Of course, this is still an estimate, but right now it is the best thing we have to go off of until the game actually gets in the hands of players. You can see how EdgeRunner Cold came to this estimate in their short, but detailed video below:
Cyberpunk 2077 is less than a week away and you can begin pre-loading the game onto your PS4 or PS5 from Tuesday. A pre-launch patch has just been released for the game, which comes in at about 43 GB.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases for PS4 on December 10, 2020, and for PS5 in 2021.
