Craig Mazin, Neil Druckmann, And The Cast Of HBO’s The Last Of Us Will Reveal A New Glimpse Of Season 2 At SXSW 2025

HBO’s The Last Of Us is set to premiere its upcoming season 2 in April 2025, and every day closer seems to bring us more and more news about the coming season.

Just last week, for example, showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann sat down in an interview and discussed a number of details for season 2, like why Abby actor Kaitlyn Dever didn’t need to get jacked for the role, and revealed that the show will adapt scenes that were cut from the game.

And now we know to expect more details during SXSW 2025, which takes place the second week of March from March 7-15, 2025.

Mazin, Druckmann, along with the cast of The Last Of Us, including Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced and Young Mazino will all be in attendance on a panel to talk about the show. But perhaps what’s most exciting for fans eager for season 2, is that they’ll also showcase a new glimpse of the show.

Also, if we still don’t know when the first episode will premiere by the time of the panel, then that could likely be when we find out. For now, all we know is that the show will premiere in April. It would be nice to have an official date to markdown on the calendar, though.
