- Teams of players will compete in an open-world player-versus-environment setting featuring multiple squads who can work together to take on masses of enemy forces
- Much greater enemy density than ever before, and this time it’s not just the undead that players will be fighting.
- Vehicle support, a series of rewards and upgrades, classic features like Pack-A-Punch, Perk Colas, the Mystery Box, and Wonder Weapon, and more!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is pencilled in for a November 10, 2023 release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The main campaign picks up following the events of MWII and its various post-launch content, and brings back Task Force 141 members Captain Price, Ghost, Gas, and Soap as they combat a new threat in the form of ultranationalist terrorist, Vladimir Makarov.
This is technically the second version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, as the original incarnation launched back in 2011 to cap off the first Modern Warfare trilogy. For reasons unknown, Activision never bothered to remaster that game’s campaign despite revamping the first two.
