Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is manoeuvring into stores for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One today, and we’ve now got an idea of how long the campaign will last. According to a report on Game Rant, players an expect to clock in roughly as many hours as previous Call of Duty games in terms of the main story, which is probably not much of a shocker.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Campaign Length
The site reports that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign clocks in at roughly five hours, which is pretty average for the franchise. Get the scoop below:
There are 14 missions in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign, and it took us roughly five hours to beat it from start to finish on Regular difficulty. If one cranks the difficulty up to Veteran or Realism, then they are likely to get a lot more playtime out of the campaign than others, but generally speaking, it should take most Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players about five hours to beat the campaign.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a complete revamp of the popular sub-series, which launched to great success back in 2007 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game features three main attractions: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Spec Ops, the latter of which includes cooperative play.
Unlike previous instalments in the multi-million selling franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare does not feature the traditional Season Pass model, instead offering free post-launch updates.
In addition, Infinity Ward is also featuring cross-platform play for the first time in the series. There’s no Zombies mode this time around, however.
Elsewhere, we’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale mode, which is reportedly due out in early 2020. The previous game in the series, Black Ops 4, was the first entry in the series to include this mode.
