Kazunori Nanji, the president and CEO of developer BeXide, has said that he’s keen to make a new entry in the Doko Demo Issyo series for the PS5. The franchise has been doing the rounds since the PSOne back in 1999, and features Sony Japan/Asia mascot Toro Inoue.
Doko Demo Issyo PS5 Could Happen
Speaking during an interview with 4Gamer, Nanji-san also revealed that it’s possible new characters could appear in the game if it ever happens. Note that nothing has been confirmed at this point, but Nanji seems keen on making it happen.
Although I say I’d like to take on various challenges… what is it that I should do specifically? (Laughs.) One of the first things that comes to mind is that it would be nice if we could release a new Doko Demo Issyo title for PlayStation 5.
The most recent console entries in the series came in the shape of Toro’s Friend Network (PS Vita), Shuukan Toro Station (PS3, PSP) and Toro! Let’s Party.
