Batman: Return to Arkham PS4 file size confirmed

A listing on the PlayStation Store has confirmed the Batman: Return to Arkham PS4 file size, with the collection taking up approximately 47.28GB of space on your console’s hard drive.

Batman: Return to Arkham includes high-definition versions of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, plus all available downloadable content. However, the bundle won’t feature Batman: Arkham Origins, although this particular game was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal instead of series creator, Rocksteady Games.

Batman: Return to Arkham is due out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 18, 2016. The game was originally due out in August, but was pushed back to allow for additional polishing; rumors at the time suggested that Warner Bros was unhappy with the quality of the ports, and therefore delayed the game to ensure it would ship at a higher quality.

The Arkham franchise first launched back in 2009 for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, and is widely credited for reinvigorating the superhero video game genre following a string of mediocre efforts. Batman: Arkham City built on the formula by transporting The Dark Knight to a full open-world Gotham City full of activities, while last year’s Arkham Knight capped off the series on current-generation consoles.

Rocksteady return to the series with the PlayStation VR-exclusive Batman: Arkham VR, although confirmed that this will be their final Batman title.
