Baldur’s Gate 3 has been available on PC for nearly a month, but it’ll finally be coming to PS5 in just days. Anyone hoping to jump into the amazing fantasy world built by Larian Studios as soon as they can will probably have to clear up some space on their console’s SSD.
The ever-reliable Twitter account PlayStationSize has revealed just how big of a download Baldur’s Gate 3 will be, topping out at 108.831GB for the PS5’s launch version.

Games have only ballooned in size since the beginning of this current generation, despite the promise that they would shrink, thanks to how memory is compiled within solid state drives versus traditional classic hard disc drives.
Of course though, game developers have taken these advanced limitations to push these new limits as much as possible, so rather than game sizes getting smaller, they’re still increasing, though they’re not nearly as bad as they would be on an older hard drive.
It’s a trade off for sure, but so long as we’re getting better games, it’s well worth it.
