Assassin’s Creed Valhalla producer Julien Laferrière has touched base on the size of the game’s map, saying that in addition to England and Norway there are ‘secret worlds’ that players can explore that haven’t been revealed yet.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Map Size
Speaking in a recent interview, Laferrière revealed that not only is the game bigger than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s already-sprawling map, but it seems there’s other locations under the hood that we haven’t seen yet beyond England and Norway.
I would actually say in terms of range it is probably a bit larger than Assassins Creed Odyssey. I do not have the exact figures at this stage, but we have not only created the whole country, which is, in this case, England, but also to a good part of Norway too.
There are other secret worlds, which I can not speak about today, which contributed to the size of the game. It’s not a small game, it is a game that is clearly ambitious, which will offer many many hours of gameplay for the players.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due out this holiday season for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The game has smashed the record for a game announcement at Ubisoft following its unveiling a few weeks ago, so things are off to a solid start to say the least.
Fans will be pleased to know that the Assassin’s Blade is making a comeback in Valhalla, with your character seen wielding the weapon in a recent trailer.
