Fancy unlocking Basim’s sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla? Then make sure you check out the game’s latest community event, which will unlock the weapon upon completion, Ubisoft has revealed today.
The latest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla community challenge tasks you with raking in 250,000 kills with one-handed swords, and must be completed by December 9. Doing so will unlock your Basim’s sword for your personal arsenal.
In addition, Ubisoft is also extending the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Oskoreia Festival by one week, so it’ll now wrap up on December 9. The event launched in November and offers new quests and activities, such as horseback riding and a tournament.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in October 2020, and launched for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S the following month. The game has received two major content expansions so far, Wrath of the Druids and Siege of Paris, plus the Discovery Tour.
Ubisoft pushed out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.40 last month, which added some new DLC, Tombs of the Fallen, while the company confirmed that it will release new content into 2022.
