Mat Piscatella of US analyst firm Circana has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows currently ranks as the second-best selling game in the US for 2025, with only Monster Hunter Wilds performing better.
Here’s a fun one… Assassin’s Creed: Shadows has been the best-selling video game in the US for each of its first 3 weeks in market, according to Circana’s Retail Tracking Service (dollar sales, latest data through April 5th). Currently ranks #2 year-to-date trailing only Monster Hunter: Wilds.

Back in late March, Ubisoft revealed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows had reached three million players since launch, logging over 40 million hours of play time during the same period. Furthermore, the game also topped the PlayStation Store downloads chart for March in the EU, and made the top five in the US to boot.
