Ubisoft has confirmed through the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account that the highly anticipated 60FPS update for Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available for PS5 this Thursday, June 2, 2022.
We’ve had a bunch of hints that the update would be coming soon, and now we finally have confirmation of it, coming even earlier than previously suspected.

It also means this is yet another popular previous-gen title that is getting a free upgrade, which is never a bad thing for fans who have a PS5 and want to see their beloved PS4 games in their best light.
Now, fans are hoping the same treatment is given to Black Flag and Syndicate, two other beloved titles in the franchise from the PS4 era that, especially in the case of Black Flag, still greatly resonate with fans.
