Among the many fun things you’ll be doing in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is solving Sphinx puzzles. These riddles are fairly logical, but if you need a helping hand, check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Sphinx riddle answers.
You’ll first encounter the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Sphinx riddles during the Lore of the Sphinx quest. This doesn’t being until after you’ve completed sequence 7, and following the main story quest, United Front. Check out the AC Odyssey guide for more details.
Once, you’ve then completed the side quest Lore of the Sphinx, you’ll encounter the creature. The Sphinx will then give you three riddles to solve. Fail one, and he’ll ask you another until you’ve solved all three.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Sphinx Riddle Answers
In total, there are 12 Sphinx riddles that he may ask you. The solutions are below.
#1: Never resting, never still; moving silently from hill to hill; it does not walk, run or trot; all is cool where it is not.
Answer: Sun
#2: As small as your thumb, I am light in the air. You may hear me before you see me, but trust that I’m here.
Answer: Hummingbird
#3: What is always old and sometimes new; never sad, sometimes blue; never empty, but sometimes full; never pushes, always pulls?

Riddle #4: This thing all things devour: birds, beasts, trees, flowers; gnaws iron, bites steel; grinds hard stones to meal.

Riddle #5: What is large, yet never grows; has roots that cannot be seen; and is taller than trees?
Answer: Mountain
#6: In spring I am gay in handsome array; in summer more clothing I wear; when colder it grows, I fling off my clothes; and in winter quite naked appear.

#7: At night they come without being fetched, and by day they are lost without being stolen.
