The lead creator behind EA’s series of games based on Alice In Wonderland, both Alice and Alice: Madness Returns has asked fans to “please, move on,” because EA has made it clear that the proposed third game, Alice: Asylum isn’t happening.
American McGee has already asked fans to stop asking him about the third game before, though this time he’s done so in the form of a video published to his YouTube channel called Asylum: Final Word.
In the video, he narrates over a drone flight about his feelings on the Alice franchise, since EA rejected the proposal for Alice: Asylum. He also admits that the rejection itself left him “emotionally quite destroyed.”
He also responded to some direct questions he commonly receives, and tells fans that if they do have any more questions about the Alice franchise, they should direct those questions at EA, and not at him.
McGee also thanks those fans who ask him how he’s been doing, after he took a break from social media and being online, and shares that he’s doing well, and loving the time he gets to spend with his family.
