Darksiders: Genesis developer Airship Syndicate has announced it is teaming with Digital Extremes for a new IP.
Details are a bit thin right now, but we know that it will be an online, character-based third-person title that is set within a new original world. The Game Awards 2022 will play host to the full reveal of the game, so we’ll be getting more details this December.

Richard Browne, head of external projects for Digital Extremes, commented:
I signed Darksiders at THQ and I’ve been trying to work with [creative director Joe Madureira] and [Airship Syndicate president Ryan Stefanelli] ever since, our reunion is a decade in the making and couldn’t be happier for Airship Syndicate and this opportunity for them to shine.
