Limited Run Games has announced that Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties, the oddball dating simulation game/visual novel originally released on 3DO in 1993, is coming to PS5, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, the game will be available digitally and physically.

Plumbers Don’t Wear launched via noted Pixtures and Kirin Entertainment, and is an adult-oriented romp that stars Edward J. Foster and Jeanne Basone as John and Jane, respectively. Your task is to hook them up, which sounds like it could be fun, although it’s worth pointing out that the game is considered one of the worst ever made.
Your interaction in the game is limited to DVD-style menus that dictate where the story goes, with your choices having a positive or negative effect on John and Jane’s relationship. There’s multiple endings available too, and if you make enough bad choices, you may be prompted to restart the game.
Love’s a tough thing, and all that.
Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties has yet to attract a release date on PS5 and PS4.
