10 Marvel Heroes Omega characters we’d love to see in future DLC

marvel heroes omega characters dlc

With Marvel Heroes Omega doing the business with a delectable combination of Marvel licensed goodness and solid dungeon crawler fundamentals, one of the most praised aspects of the free-to-play title has been the sheer number of heroes that players can choose. From Wolverine to Captain Marvel, to She-Hulk, Squirrel Girl and many more in-between, it’s fair to say that the roster in Marvel Heroes Omega certainly isn’t lacking in comic book star power.

That said, there are more than a few Marvel characters who have yet to find their way into the PS4 version of Gazillion Entertainment’s well crafted dungeon crawler as playable characters, and it’s these heroes that we’d love to see added to the bulging roster of Marvel Heroes Omega via a future content update.

Without further ado then!

The Fantastic Four

So we have Doctor Doom framed as the main bad guy in Marvel Heroes Omega, but no Fantastic Four? A travesty I tell you! In all seriousness though, having the pride of the Baxter Building in the game would be grand, since not only would each member of the quartet lend an entirely different style of play from the other but we’d also get to have a blast about in the Fantasticar.

Falcon

“I do everything he does, just slower.” Ahh Falcon, so modest. Sidekick Number Two to Steve Rogers’ Captain America, Falcon, with his jet powered glider suit, twin machine guns, mini-rocket launchers and of course his trusty bird/drone Redwing, Sam ‘Falcon’ Wilson would seem to be a natural fit for Marvel Heroes Omega cadre of good dudes.

spider-man

Jessica Jones

Even though the Alias Investigations private eye exists in the game right now as an NPC, it would be fantastic to have her playable to complete the Hell’s Kitchen quartet of Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Her superhuman strength, towering amounts of endurance and of course, her trademark acerbic wit, would all add up to make her an essential addition to the cast of Marvel Heroes Omega.

superheroes

Quake

An elite hacker brought into S.H.I.E.L.D on account of her incredible abilities, it wouldn’t be long until Daisy Johnson would awaken her true self, the Inhuman known as ‘Quake’. Able to channel tremors of incredible strength and create walls of dense earth to protect herself and her allies, Quake’s unique arsenal of earth-shattering attacks and earth element focused support powers would make her a great choice for any team of superheroes.

best superhero

Black Bolt

King of the Inhumans, Black Bolt has a very unique ability; his voice, since even just a whisper can cause huge amounts of destruction. In addition to his trademark hypersonic scream, Black Bolt can also create shields, fashion radar-like probes out of thin air, fly at speeds exceeding 500MPH and concentrate electrons into his fists to make him punch things really, really hard. Why isn’t this guy in the game again?

Ms Marvel

A pop-culture darling, teenager Kamala Khan, or Ms. Marvel as she is now known, is an Inhuman with some rather interesting abilities. Aside from an increased healing factor, Jersey born Kamala Khan can morph any one her limbs, changing their size and strength in the process. The result is a human wrecking ball that can change her form to suit just about any situation, which when coupled with her knack for quips and off-the-cuff comedy, makes Ms Marvel a perfect addition to the Marvel Heroes Omega roster.

superhero powers

Rogue

With a gift which allows her to easily steal the powers and abilities of other mutants and channel them through herself, Rogue has frequently proven herself to be a crucial member of the X-Men. Certainly, given the importance of her to the X-Men at large, it’s more than a little baffling as to why she hasn’t been included in Marvel Heroes Omega from the get go as something more than an NPC. More Rogue please!

Weapon X-23

Again, another example of a top-notch hero currently only being represented in the game as an NPC, Weapon X-23 represents a veritable nightmare for any super villain foolish enough to cross her path. With Adamantium tipped claws, incredible hand-to-hand combat skills and pinpoint assassination techniques, X-23 in many ways represents a slicker, sleeker version of Wolverine; the perfect balance of feral berserker rage and combat finesse.

David Haller

The abandoned and psychologically traumatised son of Professor Charles Xavier, David Haller easily stands as one of the most powerful heroes Marvel has ever created. Recently given more than his fifteen minutes of fame in FX’s tremendous Legion television show (if you haven’t watched it, get on it stat), Haller’s tremendous psychic based offense and reality shattering abilities make him a force to be reckoned to say the least.

characters with powers

Agent Peggy Carter

Brought into the spotlight on the back of actress Hayley Atwell’s inspired silver screen and small screen portrayal of the indomitably brave founder of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Peggy Carter’s combination of brawler style combat, marksmanship and clever gadgetry would make her a classic and wonderful alternative to the similar, albeit more hi-tech shenanigans of Black Widow.
