Is Guitar Hero On PS5? The Guitar Hero franchise was a commercial behemoth around 17 years ago, with Activision’s music rhythm series seeing multiple entries and spin-offs across PS2 & PS3 helmed by numerous developers, including Harmonix and Vicarious Vision. There’s been nothing from the series in quite a few years now, as its success waned towards the end of the PS3-era, with the last game being 2015’s Guitar Hero Live on PS4. Is Guitar Hero On PS5?
Guitar Hero PS5 is not available and there are no plans to bring the series to Sony’s console. There hasn’t been a new game in the franchise for nearly a decade, and while PS5 is obviously backwards compatible with many PS4 games, Guitar Hero Live no longer works as its online functionality was disabled. As such, there’s no way to play a Guitar Hero game on PS5. We can only hope that the series will be revived at some point with a brand new entry, or perhaps a remaster.

Guitar Hero is a series of music rhythm games where players use replica guitars to input specific inputs in time with the music.
