The Gentlebros has announced that action-RPG Cat Quest III is launching on August 8 — otherwise known as International Cat Day — for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Cat Quest III is essentially Pirates of the Purribean! The swashbuckling adventure takes place in a 2.5D open-world RPG themed around pirates, where you take on the role of a purrivateer searching for the Northern Star. Players are joined by a trusty spirit companion as you sail through the fantastical archipelago, which is swearing them Pi-rats under the control of the notorious Pirate King.

Cat Quest III features varied dungeons and biomes to explore, while a refined combat system allows for tighter attack combs and weapon swapping as you slug it out with enemies across the Purribean. Players also have access to their own ship, which allows you to explore the seas and seamlessly zip to shore and to hunt for long-lost booty.
Kepler Interactive will publish Cat Quest III on August 8 for PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
